Well, we shot our first day of footage yesterday. We fell way behind schedule, though, so I think this film will take much longer to shoot than I thought.

Also, Charli has been replaced by this model I know named Lindsay.

In the meantime, here's a production diary!

Rich Wiley, who was playing Frank, the seedy real estate dealer, has left the project.

The role will instead be played by my good friend and fellow filmmaker, Craig Shannon.

Shot a tiny, tiny bit of footage today with my old digital 8 camera that will go on the TV during the scene where Kevin and Kate's characters are watching TV in bed together. It's of me impersonating Mark Lord, very, very badly.

For those who don't live in the Massachusetts area and are too lazy to click on the website, Mark Lord is a somewhat infamous individual around here. He's a weird guy who used to have a show on PACTV and thinks he can become selectman, mayor of Plymouth, governor of Massachusetts and eventually President of the United States just from people writing him in or "putting him on the ballot". Dave Luce and I once considered collaborating on an Escape From New York-like film about Mark Lord taking over Plymouth. I might still make it, actually.

Also, huge announcement! I'm gonna pull a Peter Jackson and post video production diaries every day to YouTube showing maybe two or three minutes or so of us filming Dream House that day.
